Working Remotely From Martinborough

What’s going on, Internet? One of the perks of my job is a work-from-anywhere policy. It meant we didn’t have to cut the road trip short and could spend another five nights in Martinborough before heading home.

That first week back at work was a video calls with my teams, family time, and popping over to see friends in Wellington.

The weather was fantastic. Singlets all week. We cooked outside most nights, and my wife and I even managed to go out for dinner one evening, at an actual restaurant.

Finishing afternoon calls and jumping straight into the plunge pool with the kids turned out to be a pretty good way to switch off work and ease back into family mode.
