I actually really enjoyed this book. It took a moment to get used to the two narrators for depending on what character was talking. I enjoyed the story, the "dark romance" was more along the lines of moments of sex between the main charactes and didn't start up until around the halfway mark. Diving right into the second book now. I’m all in on this series now. Some questionable themes, I’d like it better if the characters were ~10 years older. The gang story lines remind me of Riverdale. Already halfway through the third book!
